Attersee prepares for the 26th car-free cycling adventure day

Cyclists must mark this date in red in their calendars: The 26th car-free cycling adventure day at Lake Attersee will take place on Sunday, May 7th. From 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., the B 151 and B152 embankment roads are closed to car traffic. At this time, the 48 kilometers around Lake Attersee are only available to cyclists.

Pleasure stations around the lake, music, competitions and lots of good atmosphere are along the route. The region’s mascot Perla is on site for the little cyclists and distributes gifts. Cycling companies present themselves and their products on the bike day, and there is also the opportunity to test the Red Shark water bikes at Lake Attersee.

“At the car-free cycling experience day 2023, we are putting a special focus on climate-friendly products,” emphasizes Angelina Eggl, Managing Director of the Attersee-Attergau Tourist Association. As a traditional cooperation partner, the OÖ Nachrichten are also back on board.
