“We would actually be very well served by public transport,” says Attersee’s Mayor Rudi Hemetsberger (Green Party). In order to promote their use, everyone who arrives on Monday by public transport will receive free entry to the Attersee lido in July. Hemetsberger wants to evaluate the campaign at the end of July.
The campaign by the Attersee swimming pools last weekend was well received: anyone who came by public transport was given free entry to the seven Attersee swimming pools. The contingent of ten tickets was not used up on Saturday, “but they were gone almost immediately on Sunday,” reports Mayor Hemetsberger.
