A man was placed under arrest warrant for an attempted murder committed on November 13, 2023, rue des Grottes in Han-sur-Lesse, the Namur prosecutor’s office said on Thursday.
An argument initially broke out near a café between the alleged perpetrator and the victim, late in the followingnoon. “The victim allegedly attacked the suspect, pushed him and slapped him in the face. The two individuals would have moved away. The suspect then allegedly caused several stab wounds to the victim’s back and side. He allegedly fled following the events and then spontaneously went to the police station,” says the prosecution.
The victim’s life, which was in danger, is no longer in danger.
“On November 14, the case was put under investigation for attempted murder and violation of weapons legislation. The investigating judge has placed the suspect under arrest warrant,” concludes the Namur prosecutor’s office.
