Willoughby was taken away from the station by police on October 5th for security reasons. Just hours before her show starts on ITV. The reason? Kidnapping alert.
The police can prevent the kidnapping. Suspect Gavin Plumb had built “kidnapping and bondage equipment” in his home, prosecutors said. Plumb had also organized a flight for a US assassin next week.
Essex Police raided Plumb’s home in Harlow, Essex, on October 4th. On October 6, Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court was told that Plumb, 36, had drawn up a “detailed plan” with the US hitman over the internet and that Plumb was part of a network of like-minded people.

Holly Willoughby, 42, is reportedly “distressed” after learning of the plot. The mother of three is currently under police protection in her London home, where she lives with her husband Daniel Baldwin (49) and their three children Harry (14), Belle (12) and Chester (8).
