Attacks in two schools in Neuquén: Government will initiate legal action

In the week that is celebrated Student’s Day, they met acts of violence in two schools in Neuquén. From the Ministry of Government and Education and the Provincial Council of Education (CPE) They repudiated what happened at CPEM N°54 and at Colegio San Martín. They announced that legal actions will be carried out.

«In no way are we going to accept this type of practices in educational institutions. l“violence is not the way,” stated the provincial director of Secondary Education, Graciela Gracia.

He pointed out that through the supervisory teams and Level management, progress is being made in the accompaniment of the management teams, within the framework of the regulations and giving intervention to the competent organizationswith the objective of guaranteeing the protection and security of the educational community, and especially of the students, in the rights that protect them.

«We repudiate this unjustified and excessive level of violence in these two educational institutions. It is a very painful fact to have to deal with this type of situation, We not only endorse the judicial complaints made by the management team, but we are also going to ratify them in the Public Prosecutor’s Office.«added Gracia.

The official added that “the Ministry of Government and Education and the CPE They make the School Coexistence team available dependent on the provincial directorate of Transversal Programs for institutional strengthening”, as well as highlighting the importance of the work of coexistence agreements with each educational community.

At the San Martín school, the attack was carried out following the student and, according to what was indicated by the educational community, a mother attacked a student.
