A man attacked police officers and members of the public with a sword in Hainault, north-east London, injuring five people.
According to London police, the suspect first crashed into a house in Thurlow Gardens, then got out and allegedly attacked several people with a sword.
The 36-year-old suspect is accused of assaulting five people, including two police officers, before being arrested.
The London Ambulance Service said they treated five people at the scene and took them to hospital.

He said that ‘the police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident’.
The police say that the attack is apparently not related to terrorism.
An eyewitness said they heard screams around 7am, before seeing a man jump some fences.
He said the ‘screaming sounded like police, like when they’re ordering someone to stop, get on their knees or something’.

“According to the witness, he looked out the back window because the noise was coming from there, he saw a guy jumping over some fences … then he went down an alley as if he was going back to the street.
“I spoke to a few guys who told me that a man was running away after stabbing people,” he said.
