However, the authorities are in no hurry to evacuate the population, who complain that they can no longer breathe.

The smoke in Proletarsk is unbearable
Local residents are reporting on social media that it has become more difficult to breathe in the city.
At the same time, the mayor calls for not being discouraged. He says that the environmental situation is normal, so no evacuation is needed.
“All the smoke fell on the city… But, of course, we don’t have any exhaust fumes, everything is fine and wonderful here,” one of the local Russian women jokes.
