The federal police launched, on Tuesday, a wanted notice concerning a young man, suspected of having attacked an RTBF journalist, on December 19, 2021, during a demonstration against the measures decided to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
“On December 19, 2021 around 4.40 p.m., an individual sprayed the face of an RTBF journalist with a “pepper spray” during the “March for Freedom” demonstration, which was held in the Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels”, communicated the police, at the request of the investigating judge in charge of the investigation.
“The individual is in his twenties. He is of slim build, has thick eyebrows and full lips. At the time of the incident, he was wearing black training pants with white stripes on the sides, a gray-blue hooded jacket with “camouflage” patterns and a black and white scarf. He was in possession of a black shoulder bag”, she detailed.
