JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Ayah Atta LightningAnofial Asmid, sued the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) related to the use of the brand Lightning Gene.
The lawsuit is listed on the site SIPP Central Jakarta District Court (PN)on Friday (19/8/2022), with the lawsuit number 75/Pdt.Sus-HKI/Merek/2022/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst which was registered on August 4, 2022.
Anofial Asmid did not accept it because the Gen Halilintar brand registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights was rejected.
There are four points of lawsuit filed by Anofial Asmid in his lawsuit.
First, that the panel of judges of the Central Jakarta District Court accept and grant all of the plaintiff’s claims.
Second, to declare the decision of the Mark Appeal Commission/ ACCUSED Number 375/KBM/HKI/2020 to be cancelled on September 8, 2020.
Third, obliging the defendant, in this case the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to order the DJKI (Directorate General of Intellectual Property) to accept the application for registration of the ‘GENHALILINTAR + Painting’ Mark.
Fourth, punish the defendant to pay all the costs of the matter arising in the matter a quo.
Meanwhile, the first trial of this case was held on August 15, 2022.
The next hearing will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022.
