The announcement comes following the publication of the group’s annual results on Monday, marked by a drop in operating margin and turnover, following significant difficulties in 2021.

On the Paris Stock Exchange, the action of the specialist in digital services, red lantern of the SBF 120, fell 6.88% to 29.74 euros at 9:37 a.m.

Earlier this month, the group warned it would write down €2.4 billion in asset write-downs largely related to its new strategy to refocus on its fastest-growing businesses. .

Hit hard by the pandemic, Atos was also put in difficulty by the discovery of internal control weaknesses in two of its subsidiaries in the United States. This series of setbacks led to the departure of its general manager Elie Girard, replaced in October by Rodolphe Belmer, the former boss of Eutelsat.
