Game News Atomic Heart: this Soviet BioShock promises to be ultra-nervous and will be in the Xbox Game Pass

Drawing inspiration from the tenors of the genre is not forbidden, especially when things are done well and with a minimum of creativity. Atomic Hearts seems to fall into this category, except that the BioShock formula (especially from a gameplay point of view) is here taken up with USSR sauce.
The Sickle and the Plasmid
It was four years ago thatAtomic Heart showed up for the first time: very quickly, he knew how to build a solid reputation thanks to his atypical universe and his unbridled action. Welcome to the Soviet Union between the 1930s and 1960s: it is nevertheless an alternate reality where technology is very advanced. The player embodies a KGB agent, sent to investigate a mysterious factory.
On site and in the surrounding area, nothing goes as planned and the “populations”, both organic and robotic, ultimately turn out to be hostile. A good excuse to take up arms through monstrously nervous fights, allowing you to use firearms as well as elemental powers with your other hand. A system taken directly from Bioshockwith which the comparison turns out to be legitimate on more than one point.
A pumped-up FPS (Soviet)
History to increase the excitement, the Russian studio Mundfish has just published a brand new trailer (to be found at the beginning of the article), exclusively focused on the gameplay. We find there Bioshock therefore, but also from fast-FPS to Wolfenstein for a really promising result: the sensations promise to be visceral and the technical achievement up to expectations.
It remains to be seen what the universe will give (rather intriguing) and especially the story like its writing. To make the public confident, we learned that the screenwriter had been working on the script for more than seven years, just that. Fingers crossed that the game is worth the candle.
Atomic Heart will be released on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and Xbox One later this year. It will also be available from D-Day on the Game Pass.
