Atletico Madrid, who are preparing to sell Kieran Trippier to Newcastle, are studying several avenues to replace him. The names of Djibril Sidibé (Monaco) and Zeki Celik (Lille) were added Thursday to a list which already included César Azpilicueta (Chelsea) or Nelson Semedo (Wolverhampton). But according to L’Equipe, the priority is called Nordi Mukiele (24 years old, 23 games and 2 goals in all competitions this season).
Author of solid performances with RB Leipzig, the former Montpellier has a profile that very much appeals to the Colchoneros and their trainer Diego Simeone. Problem, the German club is not a seller this winter. For his part, the French international did not make a departure in January a priority. If he wishes to afford the native of Montreuil, the Madrid club will therefore have to be very convincing.
