Atlanta: Donald Glover’s series renewed for season 3 – News Séries

The comedy series “Atlanta” created by Donald Glover has been renewed by FX for a third season.

Created by Donald Glover, the Atlanta series has been renewed for a third season by the FX channel. Comedy centered on three characters trying to get by in life, Atlanta is distinguished in particular by the form it adopts by offering episodes very different from each other and even decorrelated episodes, one of which really stood out this season.

“Atlanta is a phenomenal series that manages to reach and exceed what few series manage to do”comment Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, presidents of FX. “With Robbin’ Season [titre de la saison 2, NdT], Donald and his collaborators have taken the series even higher, building on the excellent ratings of their first season. (…) We share the public’s excitement for Season 3 knowing that it will continue to take us to unexpected and exciting places.

In addition to his presence in the cast of Solo: A Star Wars Story and its clip This Is America which has caused a lot of ink to flow, Donald Glover recently made people talk regarding him by appearing in the list of suitors to the role of Willy Wonka in the film which will soon be dedicated to him. Ryan Gosling and Ezra Miller are also on this list. As for Atlanta, it should return in 2019.
