World famous Pakistani singer Atif Aslam says regarding the Indian ban that the ban did not make any difference to him.
During a recent interview, renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam spoke for the first time against the Indian government’s ban on Pakistani artistes. Question asked by the host: Bollywood has almost shut down due to bad relations between Pakistan and India, so how much has it affected your life, work and income?
Atif Aslam replied that his main source of income was not the Indian film industry but his concerts have always been his. Atif Aslam thanked God and said that my concerts are still going on and I recently returned from a show in Nairobi and now plan to go to Mauritius. So the Indian ban did not make any significant difference to me and my income.
Atif Aslam, regarding the removal of his songs by the Indian music company, said that the company I was working with in India had uploaded my song on their website after some time.
It should be noted that after the Pulwama attack, India, showing its traditional stubbornness, banned all Pakistani artists. However, most of the voices against this ban were raised from India and many artists including Sonongam had criticized the move of their government and said that when there is a ban, why are artists from Pakistan invited.
