The quarter-final phase of the Panhellenic U21 Boys volleyball championship begins today with a double participation from Patra. In particular, Athlos will take part in Group (C’), which will be hosted in the University gymnasium, and in Group (D’), which will be hosted in the “closed” stadium of Milos, the Olympiad was drawn.
AO Kos, Panerythraikos and Panionios were also drawn in the Sports Group and Milonas, Arkadi and Panathinaikos in the Olympiad Group.
In the next phase, the first two teams of the Groups will play each other and the winners will advance to the final-4.
The coach of the Athletics team is Dimitris Spyropoulos and at his disposal for the matches will be Nikos Kanellopoulos, Platonas Bakulopoulos, Michalis Papageorgiou, Vassilis Heilas, Efthymi Bourtzinakos, Alexis Glava, Iasona Spyropoulos, Paris Spyropoulos, Petros Stamoulis, George Panagopoulos, Nasos Pantelis, George Kouvelas, George Barlos, Ilias Lampropoulos.
For his part, Olympiada coach Manolis Synodinos is counting on Fanis Ekmetsoglou, Haris Bailos, Nikos Georgopoulos, Vassilis Paraskevopoulos, Merkouris Veziris, Yannis Gonda, Antonis Gelasios, Nikos Papakonstantopoulos, Pericles Rekoutis, Vassilis Papastathopoulos, Sokratis Tritari, Giorgos Dafogiannis.
