DIGITAL TWIN TECHNOLOGY IS THE FOCUS OF ATCX DIGITAL TWIN 2024

Altair, a global leader in computational intelligence, will promote, this Thursday, the 17th, the global virtual event ATCx Digital Twin 2024. The objective is to demonstrate the application of digital twin technology and will involve industry leaders in simulation and design products.

Altair will show how these technologies are being used to create real-time digital twins that solve problems across different industries.

“ATCx will provide a comprehensive overview of digital twin technology across multiple industries, including product design and development as well as general operations. It will also offer first-hand experience of how Altair customers use simulation, AI and data analytics to create dynamic virtual representations that improve real-world results, with real-world cases from companies such as Net One Systems, Made and CNH Industrial, among others, as well as an informal high-level chat and a panel with forward-thinking industry leaders”, explains Valdir Cardoso, president of Altair Brasil.

ATCx Digital Twins global virtual event takes place this Thursday, the 17th, and will showcase the application of digital twin technology in various sectors

According to the executive, at ATCx Digital Twins 2024 participants will learn how Altair’s digital twin solutions use AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology to combine simulated and real-world data. It is suitable for mechatronics engineers interested in the latest technological developments in manufacturing, heavy equipment and high-tech fields; engineering managers who want to reduce time to market through simulation and workflow efficiency, and operations managers aiming to maximize asset availability and optimize system-specific KPIs in operation.

Other Altair tools

The event will highlight new trends, tools and issues in incorporating digital twins into workflows across multiple industries, ensuring attendees are knowledgeable about the use of this technology and its added value at all stages of a product’s lifecycle – from design, through commissioning, to operation and maintenance. It will also demonstrate how Altair tools — spanning simulation, AI and IoT — help create digital twins that fit into existing workflows. It’s a great chance to catch up on the latest trends and see how these innovations are making a difference.

Global Virtual Event
October 17th – from 1pm (Brasília time)

Don’t miss this unparalleled opportunity to stay at the forefront of digital transformation in engineering.

Highlights:

  1. We have a fantastic lineup combining Altair thought leaders and customers across different industries, sharing insights into their digital twin projects across 3 tracks with speakers from GEZE, L&T Technology Services, ZF, LG Electronics, Net One Systems, CNH Industrial, Fraunhofer IWU, Philips, Mativ, Made, Toggled IQ and AUCOTEC
  2. The solutions presented will cover a wide range of our digital twin building blocks, incl. tools such as Twin Activate, MotionSolve, Inspire, Optistruct, romAI, Rapidminer, AI Studio, IoT Studio, Panopticon, EEvision and, in doing so, showcase the unique breadth of our offering. Below is a preview of what to expect from some of our presenters (for internal use only!), e.g.

GEZE

  1. What will be presented: How to achieve digital transformation from test-based to virtual product development, even for safety-critical products.
  2. Why this matters: It’s proof that our solutions create meaningful business value for our customers and that customers are willing to pay for it

Philips

  1. What will be presented: How to combine real-time multi-physics systems simulations with real-world data streaming using cloud-based visualization
  2. Why this matters: These use cases for “enhanced asset monitoring” are becoming increasingly important, especially for high-cost products and systems in HLS/ENGY/HETR and AERO

CNHi

  1. What will be presented: How to increase the realistic behavior of training simulators by accelerating high-fidelity simulations leveraging romAI
  2. Why this is important: Virtualizing hardware testing to save time and costs is extremely relevant for large companies across industries, esp. Auto / HETR / ENGY, and our solutions

Featured tracks and their impact Digital twin for product design and development

Product design and development is a niche that conventionally requires producing multiple iterations of the same product in an attempt to obtain the best working prototype. However, with digital twins, companies can overcome the restrictions that come with it.

Some benefits that digital twins bring to product design and development include reducing schedule and cost, testing product system dynamics for scenarios that cannot be simulated in real time, and accelerating design optimization. Digital twin for operations Digital twins are also transformative for operations.

Helps improve efficiency by: Providing better monitoring and control: Digital twins can provide real-time monitoring and control capabilities to enable quick responses. Maximize system lifespan and prevent failures with predictive analytics: Companies can detect anomalies and perform maintenance to prevent future failures. This proactive maintenance and management can help maximize system life. solutions.
