He also underlined that the “polisario”, isolated from the Sahrawi population, “persists in acting with a behavior and a refusal of the negotiations which relates it precisely to what we agree to call a terrorist group, not only by its actions , but also by its negative to any peaceful conversation”.

To overcome this impasse, Mr. Grimblatt stressed that the only way to find a definitive solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara is none other than the autonomy initiative.
