This weekend, the Paris Air Show welcomes thousands of visitors passionate regarding aviation and innovative technologies in the field. Something to dazzle young and old, while the aerial demonstrations are unanimous every year as Europe 1 has noted.
Many aviation enthusiasts went there and had stars in their eyes. The Paris Air Show once once more caused a sensation with young and old alike. With a smile from ear to ear, Raphaël, aged 11, does not miss a second of the show. “Woah! There we see the Patrouille de France making the flag with the smoke, and they are making shapes. It’s incredible!”, raves the young man at the microphone of Europe 1.
Noël, the latter’s grandfather, is a regular at Le Bourget: “It’s been more than 40 years and I pass this on to my grandchildren, indeed.” If the Rafales or the F-35s of the US Air Force always make you look up and even sometimes stop your ears, helicopters also attract attention, as confirmed by Virginie, an intern at Safran. “The demos, you have to see that. I just learned that a helicopter might go in reverse. We discover a lot of things!”
“It’s impressive”
Alain, another visitor, hadn’t been here for a very long time. “They do loops like airplanes. They manage to maneuver, dive, vertical. It’s impressive,” he says with admiration for helicopters. Flying taxis, electric airplanes, even connoisseurs like Bernard are on the lookout for new things. “I flew small planes, but I also look at the technologies used. I look a little at the developments. It’s true that there are wonders now.”
From the huge A400M to the small hybrid plane, passing through collector’s models, the program will be varied in the skies of Le Bourget until Sunday.
