At the Lithographion Theater on May 24 and 25, the aerial dance theater performance – 2024-05-13 19:26:21

After their sold out performances in Patras and Athens, the group neque statera and “The Cosmic Egg” they return for two more performances at the Lithographion theater on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 May at 9:30 pm.

The nor balance they acrobat between the stability of the earth and the instability of the air, weave structures with aerial sails and ropes and create environments to tell their stories from the “big bang” to the present day.

“The cosmic egg” is a paerial dance theatrewith an adapted text excerpt from Dostoyevsky’s “A Ridiculous Dream” and an original musical composition with sampling and sound collage.

The story starts from the first moments of creation of the universe with an “egg”, a mass of chemical ingredients, the “primordial soup”. From within it arises the creation of the universe, i.e. the space and time where the appropriate conditions were formed so that initially single-celled life forms could develop which gradually “transformed” into multicellular ones, later into animals and much later into rational “animals”. It reaches a dystopian environment with man being a cog in a well-tuned machine.
