At the height of crises… “Artistic Lebanon” is rising again

Lebanon has recently begun to witness the restoration of its artistic presence following a complete absence since the fall of 2019, due to the deteriorating living conditions and the spread of the Corona pandemic.

A number of Lebanese artists chose to leave Lebanon and reside in other countries, most notably the United Arab Emirates and specifically Dubai, which provided them with golden residencies, and relied, as a material income, on the parties they live outside Lebanon, in addition to weddings and paid TV appearances.

However, we have recently begun to witness a return, albeit timid, to the artistic nightlife in Lebanon, with a number of Lebanese stars reviving concerts last month and this month in different locations, in addition to the return of some Arab stars to Lebanon following an absence, most notably Kazem El Saher and Hani. Thankful.

It should be noted that the huge artistic festivals were shy this summer, and some of them were limited to specific concerts with acceptable budgets, while the big artistic names were absent from these festivals.

It is also undeniable the impact of the “Night of Hope” concert presented by artist Osama Rahbani and artist Heba Tawaji, with the participation of artist Elissa and musician Ibrahim Maalouf, in cooperation with MTV, on moving the artistic wheel once more.
