As a potential player for Team America, a small but established team in Rio de Janeiro, Romalrio, who retired from football in 2009, would be a teammate of Romarinho, one of his sons, and striker Andre, who played alongside Neymar and Paulo Henrique Ganso at Santos.

Romario, who maintains his level thanks to the small matches he plays with his friends on the beach, explained that he intends to talk to America coach Marcos Alexander regarding the best way he can use him on the field.

According to the Rio team, Romario has signed a contract to play until next December, for which he will receive a minimum salary as a bonus, which the former footballer himself promised to donate to the club.
