Comedian Vérino is performing at the Sully on Tuesday March 7 at 8:30 p.m. An event not to be missed as part of the 2022/2023 cultural season.
In January 2004, Olivier Balastriero alias Vérino left Nancy to take his first steps in Paris. Between 2005 and 2009 while he accumulated successes in many festivals (Montreux, Montreal …), he wrote and refined his first show which he will present in 2009 on more than 200 dates and the last of which will be played at the Olympia sold out. At the same time, in 2011, he appeared for the first time on TV in “On ne demande qu’en rire” where he became a key figure by imposing his own style of Stand Up.
His second show “Vérino s’installer” was created in 2014 at the Grand Point Virgule then Bobino then at the Antoine Theater and the Grand Rex. He continued it on tour and accumulated 900 performances to stop in 2020. In 2014, he also created and presented the Inglorious Comedy Club: a set in which he invites the best comedians as long as he continues to produce and present Currently.
In 2015 he created a new video format on Youtube, “Dis Donc Internet”, every Friday at the end of his show, he puts his back to the public and shoots a video on the news of the week. To date, that’s over 200 videos, 150 million views and 455,000 subscribers.
Since 2021, Vérino has been playing its 3rd show: following 120 dates between Paris and a major sold-out tour, Vérino is starting the second season of Focus.
The show
Between what you think, what you mean, what others understand, what you think others think when you don’t think what you mean… Focus. Third show, change of caliber, Vérino tackles global, world and even spatial subjects to take stock of its contradictions and ours. If Socrate and Coluche had had a child, Focus would be his birth gift. Because I know that I know nothing, it makes you dizzy and it’s funny.
