At night, the time changed from winter to summer, and people slept an hour less | Homemade

On the night of Saturday 30th to Sunday 31st March, time moved forward one hour. The time change took place between two and three in the morning. The change of time is criticized not only by experts, but it is still not regarding to change.

Don’t forget to rewind the clock

After waking up today, people once more had to turn the hands of their watches, this time one hour forward. Summer time began to apply even though the members of the European Parliament decided in 2019 that the alternation of summer and winter time would be abolished. However, the European Union states have still not agreed on which time will apply.

The change to summer time this year fell on Sunday, March 31. At two o’clock in the morning time jumped forward three hours, and the night from Saturday to Sunday was thus one hour shorter. The hands of clocks and watches will have to be turned once more on the last Sunday in October, when winter time returns.

Which tense is correct?

Daylight saving time was largely established during World War I in most European countries and the United States. “The purpose of the time change was to save electricity, which was needed for evening lighting,” the director of the Brno observatory stated earlier Jiří Dusek.

Most scientists now favor a return to natural time, which is governed by sunrise and sunset and corresponds to the physiological needs of humans. According to them, permanent summer time is harmful to our biorhythm. “Leaving a permanent Central European would have a positive impact on human health,” a member of the Physiological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic described in a press release Alena Sumová.
