At least five dead and 18 injured left a shooting at an LGTBIQ bar in the US.

At least five people died and 18 were injured in a shooting at a bar in Colorado Springs, in the central United States, police announced.

“There was a shooting tonight at a local bar. We received a first call around 11:57 (06:57 GMT on Sunday) that there was a shooting in progress at a local club known as Club Q,” said police spokeswoman Pamela Castro.

Castro said that the agents They “located” a suspect of perpetrating the massacre inside the bar. “There are 18 injured and five dead,” added the spokeswoman.

Club Q said it was “devastated by the senseless attack on our community.”

“We appreciate the quick reactions from the heroic customers who subdued the gunman and ended this hateful attack,” he wrote in a Facebook post.
