At least 50 are said to have been killed in Israeli attacks in southern Gaza

The information on the death toll comes from the health authorities in the Palestinian area, who say that the victims of the fighting in the last 48 hours are lying on the roads, where the fighting continues, or under ruins.

Among those killed are eleven members from the same family, including at least two children, who were killed in their own home outside Khan Younis, according to the Nasser Hospital, which received the victims.

The hospital has received a total of 33 people who have been killed in three different attacks in and near Khan Younis. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital reports that it has received three victims from another attack early Saturday morning.

17 others were killed when an attack hit a road south of Khan Younis, according to Nasser Hospital. Among those killed were the passengers on a tricycle and others who happened to be on the road. Another attack hit a tricycle east of Khan Younis, and here five people are said to have been killed.

The Israeli military says they are reviewing the messages, but they would not comment on Saturday morning, according to AP.

Ambulance personnel have also retrieved ten dead people from an apartment block west of Khan Younis. What has happened is not clear, but the area has been repeatedly bombed by Israeli forces in the past week.

A journalist from the AP news agency has counted the bodies and also filmed the funerals that took place on the hospital grounds on Saturday.

As fighting rages in Gaza, negotiations for a ceasefire and a hostage deal are underway in Cairo, where a Hamas delegation arrived on Saturday.
