The Gap Tallard Vallées Tourist Office is organizing an outing to gravel or mountain biking on October 13, in the twilight and moonlight… Followed by an aperitif and a mountain cinema screening.

Road bike, electric bike, mountain bike and even gravel, the Gap Tallard Vallées area is ideal for cycling, in all its forms. Many routes are available to all practitioners, whatever their level. The Tourist Office presents these routes through its editions (the Carnets de Rando) and participates every summer in the Hautes Alpes reserved passes event.
In order to prolong the good atmosphere of these cycling climbs and to expand the offer of discovery and leisure activities by bike, this autumn 2023 will see the birth of a new event: “La VéloCiné”. The idea is to offer a guided outing on a gravel bike, mountain bike or electric mountain bike followed by a wonderful mountain movie evening. On Friday October 13, the appointment is given at the end of the day to appreciate the softness of the sunset over the autumn colors and to continue in the moonlight. The route departing from the town center of Gap will take tracks passing towards the hill of St Mens, Rambaud, La Bâtie-Vielle to return to Gap via the Grand Larra. The Gravel route is available on the Strava account from the Tourist Office.
After this walk, without any spirit of competition, the group will meet up around an aperitif served as part of La Cinémathèque d’Images de Montagne. Accompanying people not participating in the bike ride will be able to join the group at that time. Finally, the evening will continue around the film “Alaska-Patagonia, the great crossing”.
