Bastian Schweinsteiger is on the road again. This time, the Bayern hero is a guest at the Laver Cup in Berlin – and will meet several world stars.

Berlin – Superstar alert is not only in Munich this weekend! While the tapping of the 189th Oktoberfest takes place in the Bavarian capital on Saturday (September 21st), a premiere will take place in the German capital over the entire weekend.

Schweinsteiger chats with three absolute world stars at the Laver Cup

On the first day of the Laver Cup, the dream couple cut a splendid figure in the stands – the two were by no means the only sports stars. In his Instagram story, the Bayern legend uploaded two videos that show Schweinsteiger having a nice chat with three absolute world greats.

In the first clip, Schweinsteiger talks to none other than Roger Federer. The Swiss is the originator and organizer of the Laver Cup. In 2022, the 20-time Grand Slam winner played his last match on the professional stage at the show event in London.

And Schweinsteiger’s second and third conversation partners are also quite something. It’s not just tennis greats who are in Berlin. Dirk Nowitzki, for example, is not missing out on the event. The best German basketball player of all time and NBA champion is sitting in the stands in Berlin with his wife and ex-teammate and two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash. Here, too, Schweinsteiger can be seen having a short conversation with both of them.

On the sporting stage, however, Alexander Zverev represents Germany. The Hamburg native obviously plays for Team Europe, but suffered a defeat in the doubles match with Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz on Friday. Despite the support of Schweinsteiger and Nowitzki … (kk)
