At 12 the dead from the explosions of buzzers

Israel did not comment on the explosions, which took place in Hezbollah strongholds hours after Israel announced that the country was expanding to its northern border with Lebanon the targets of its war against the Palestinian Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

After cross-checking data with all hospitals, the toll rose to “12 dead including two children” and includes “between 2,750 and 2,800” wounded, Abiad told a news conference. The previous toll was 9 dead.

The dead included a girl and a boy, as well as four health workers who worked in “private hospitals in the southern suburbs of Beirut,” he said.

Some wounded in the Bekaa Valley (east) “were taken to Syria,” while “in other cases they were taken to Iran,” he added.

About 750 people were injured in the southern part of the country, about 150 in the Bekaa and about 1,850 in Beirut and its southern suburbs, according to the minister.
