ASUS today unveiled its latest range of gaming smartphones; ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.
Apparently, the phones are coming with best-in-class specs, such as a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform processor, up to 18GB of RAM, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
While these specs will soon become part of other flagship phones, ASUS has added something that will set the two phones apart from the rest of the smartphones out there.
Besides the customizable AirTrigger 6 buttons, ASUS will introduce other accessories that enhance the phone’s gaming capabilities, including the unique AeroActive Cooler 6 module for ROG Phone 6 and Phone 6 Pro.
AeroActive 6 is the world’s first clip-on wireless thermal cooler, the AI-powered accessory contains a fan with thermoelectric radiator, which blows cooled air directly to the back of the phone. The increased cooling airflow helps keep the phone at normal temperatures during high phone usage such as intense gaming.
However, AeroActive Cooler 6 is not just for cooling purposes, it also offers new control options for gamers as well.
The addon has not one but four physical buttons that players can customize according to their mood. These buttons are referred to after console controllers, and can certainly resemble the LT and RT buttons that have been with Xbox for over a decade.
