The Ryzen 7000 series processor burn problem that has been raging for days may have a further answer.
VideocardZ According to the report, Roman “Der8auer” Hartung received an official response from ASUS for the burning problem of the Ryzen 7000 series, especially the Ryzen 7000X3D series processors. As far as the official response is concerned, the current problem is biased towards AMD EXPO (memory overclocking profile) and SoC voltage settings causing burnout.
ASUS has removed many BIOS from the official website, and released a new version of BIOS for users to download.
Taking X670E EXTREME as an example, there is only the “1202” version released on April 12 for Ryzen 7000X3D on the ASUS official website at this stage. If you are a Ryzen 7000X3D series processor user, it is recommended to update to the latest version of BIOS as soon as possible.
In addition to the X3D series of Ryzen 7000 series processors, there are also reports of similar problems occurring in non-“X3D” series Ryzen 7000 series processors.
