Asus presents ExpertBook B9, a 14-inch laptop weighing 880 grams aimed at companies

Asus has introduced the Expert 2022 series, a portfolio of products designed for companies and professionals of which the ExpertBook B9 stands out, a 14-inch laptop that claims to be the lightest on the market, weighing 880 grams.

This device is part of the new series from the technology manufacturer Asus, which has also released two other laptops, ExpertBook B7 Flip y ExpertBook B3 Detachable.

“With the new series of Expert products, we want to help companies define their working reality with solutions that offer elite performancea top quality design, the best durability and professional tools”, commented the Product Manager of ASUS Team Leader, Adrià Pascual, in a statement sent to Europa Press.

The devices are available with 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processors and feature enterprise security and collaboration features, as well as EPEAT and Energy Star certifications, Two-way noise cancellation with artificial intelligence, webcam cover and WiFi 6E compatibility.

The most outstanding model of the three presented is the ExpertBook B9 (B9400CBA), a laptop for companies of 14 inches featuring a magnesium alloy chassis that only weighs 880 grams, which, according to Asus, makes it the “world’s lightest” laptop of its kind.

As indicated by the Taiwanese company, the cover of this device is forged in an alloy of magnesium and lithium, and its reinforced construction has passed US military strength standards and various Asus tests.

The laptop offers up to 16 hours of battery life, with great performance for hybrid executives and employees, and features the EPEAT Gold certification and sustainable packaging.

EXPERTBOOK B7 FLIP, NUEVO CONVERTIBLE

Another of the devices presented by Asus is the ExpertBook B7 Flip (B7402FBA), which the company describes as “the ultimate tool for mobile work.

It features a lightweight and strong aluminum-magnesium alloy design and features the 360 degree ErgoLift hinge, that offers the possibility of placing it in different positions, such as a traditional laptop or a tablet, among others. The resistance of this hinge has been tested with 30,000 opening and closing cycles.

Have a 14-inch touch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10. It allows the input of the Asus magnetic pen and integrates the Asus NumberPad numeric keyboard. In addition, it offers biometric login with facial scanner, fingerprint sensor and the brand’s PrivateView technology.

This convertible laptop supports Intel vPro, features optional 5G connectivity, its battery offers up to eleven hours of autonomy and includes different ports, as well as support for three external displays and a smart card reader.

Finally, ExpertBook B3 Detachable (B3000) is the latest model presented by the manufacturer, which has become known for being the first Windows laptop equipped with the Windows platform. Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 y a fast-charging stylus.

The device integrates the ExpertStand support of double orientation, as well as the ExpertBoard detachable keyboard, and offers up to 21 hours of battery life.

In the image section, it stands out for its 5 megapixel (MP) front camera with 3D noise reduction (3DNR) technology and an outward-facing 13 MP camera that eliminates 94 percent of existing noise in low-light conditions
