ASUS announced on Thursday night (6) the expansion of its gaming portfolio in Brazil. The company has just launched the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate as the new gamer smartphone in the country.
The cell phone had reached the international market in mid-April this year and is now landing on national soil, focusing on more advanced players. It promises to maintain high performance even in long gaming sessions.

The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution and a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits, to allow satisfactory viewing even in bright environments. The device has a refresh rate of 165 Hz, which increases fluidity in compatible titles, and a touch sensor response of 720 Hz, to reduce latency.
The sound system comprises dual front-facing speakers that deliver 50% more power than its predecessor. You can still have 2.1 audio by attaching the AeroActive Cooler 7 – included in the box –, which contains a subwoofer attached.
The cooler features an intelligent thermoelectric system, which works by taking the cooled air directly to the processor and increases thermal efficiency by up to 20%. The device even contains a wider dissipation chamber and greater coverage of graphite sheets, on the opposite side of the processor, in order to avoid overheating.
The model has a customizable external display on the back, in addition to RGB LEDs and customizable ultrasonic triggers – the AirTriggers – to give gamers greater comfort. ASUS kept the P2 port for headphones, in addition to a biometric reader on the side and two USB-C ports.
Hardware e software
The new Taiwanese gamer smartphone comes equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform – the latest top of the line from ASUS –, which promises 15% more speed and energy efficiency. In addition, the component supports Ray Tracing technology, making games more realistic and immersive.
The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate hardware also has 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM memory, accompanied by 512 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage – which promises twice as fast data transfer.
The battery has a capacity of 6,000 mAh to guarantee a whole day away from the socket or more, depending on the type of use. Fast charging has a power of 65W and allows you to reach 100% in less than an hour.
The mobile comes out of the box with Android 13 as the native operating system. ASUS promises two major updates of the “little robot”, in addition to four years of security packages for this model.
The software stands out for its AI features that enhance the gaming experience. Examples include X Sense, to help players detect key events on screen and notify when an important new item appears on the map or an enemy approaches; and Captura X, which automatically records key battle moments.
Cmeras
The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate features a triple array of rear cameras, led by the main 50MP one, to please in photos taken outdoors. The trio is completed with the 13 MP ultrawide sensor and the 5 MP macro.
The smartphone offers a 32 MP front camera on the top edge – without a notch. It compresses four pixels into one to deliver 8MP selfies by default. The camcorder supports recording in 8K at 24 fps or 4K at 60 fps with the main one. At the front, the lens is limited to Full HD resolution.

The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate can be found at the official ASUS online store in Brazil. It is available for a suggested price of BRL 11,999, with a 10% discount for the PIX payment option.
