The Chinese multinational brings us this time an improved version of the well-known graphics cards NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, with the new ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX 3090 Ti and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti models, which can be found in standard and OC versions.
These new graphics cards 10,752 CUDA cores, 24 GB of GDDR6X VRAM memory and much more. Let’s meet them.
ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX 3090 Ti
On the one hand, we will have the ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, which will delight us with a liquid cooling system that firstly has a custom-designed cold plate, and then continues with 560mm tubes so that users have more options when installing the radiator in different housings. The 240mm radiator is cooled by a pair of 120mm ARGB fans, which are capable of moving large amounts of high static pressure cooling air.
These and other features make this graphics card easy to install and configure for long-term performance, plus it has LED alerts that allow users to detect if something is not connected correctly, such as the 1×16-pin power connector, or if the graphics card is not getting enough power. Thanks to two FanConnect II headers it is possible to connect the case fans to the graphics card thus increasing airflow at times of low GPU load.
Finally, I want to tell you that, among its features, there is the possibility to choose through a dual mode switch in the BIOS, if you want to have a higher cooling performance and clocks, or a quieter operation, but with a slight setback in performance.
Those users who love colors, brightness and lighting effects can make their RGB LEDs compatible with the rest of their equipment by using Aura Sync.
TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti
Here we have the version of the graphics card with a new solution with a top of the line when it comes to air cooling. This solution starts with an angular matte black metal shroud, which covers a massive 3.2-slot heatsink, which is spaced apart to keep the GPU, VRAM, and power circuitry cool.
On the other hand, the increase in the width of each of the 3 Axial-Tech fans proposed by ASUS (to 1.5 cm), has increased the static pressure, which together with the barrier rings of these fans concentrate the air in the places where it is most needed. These 3 fans rotate in different directions to reduce turbulence, and by allowing higher RPM and air movement through the heatsink, they do not generate an increase in the acoustic footprint.
The 0dB fan stop mode, which is also featured on the ROG Strix LC version, allows the card to maintain silent operation under light loads or at idle.
This card is also characterized by its Auto-Extreme assembly technology, which has the entire ASUS range. This leads to maximum precision during the construction of its components without human intervention to increase its reliability and quality during this process.
Users who love these graphics cards will also be able to customize the TUF Gaming version. With it they will be able to combine with the rest of their gamer setup using the integrated Aura RGB LEDs.
