Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Municipality of Asunción offers benefits for taxpayers in arrears, within the framework of the Agosto Off campaign. It offers 100% exemption from fines and surcharges, and a 5% discount for cash payments for municipal taxes and fees for the 2024 fiscal year.
Payments are also possible through Infonet Cobranzas, at one of its 4,000 payment points, and through the Mobile Payment app.
The only requirement to pay through these channels is to have the corresponding invoice number, issued by the Municipality of Asunción, which can be obtained through the call center of the Revenue Department. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday until 16:00 and Saturdays from 08:00 to 11:30, or by calling 021 627 3010 and 0994 151172.
Among the benefits of “August Off” are 100% exemption from fines and surcharges, late interest, punitive interest and other added fees, for cash payment of overdue and due installments, corresponding to all installment plans, including the current year.
The exemption also applies to those taxpayers who wish to make a payment plan, with a 10% down payment and the balance in 6 installments, without financing interest.
In addition, a 5% discount was established on the payment of taxes and fees for the 2024 fiscal year.
