Astronomers: Mysterious celestial body trying to leave our galaxy at tremendous speed

A bright spot in a series of photographs takes up a new position each time, indicating that something is moving at a tremendous speed. It turns out that it is flying at a speed of 1.6 million kilometers per hour, or 440 kilometers per second.

It is worth noting that all celestial bodies in our Milky Way galaxy revolve around their center. The speed of rotation depends on the distance separating them from the center. For example, the sun rotates at a speed of up to 220 km per second, along with the Earth and all the planets, which is less than twice the speed of the strange celestial body.

Calculations have shown that any celestial body flying at a speed of 440 km/s will not remain within the galaxy for long and will inevitably leave its borders.

But the celestial body is not large and resembles a brown dwarf, as it is a failed star unable to start nuclear reactions in its core and quickly exhausts its nuclear fuel if it exists. Dwarves occupy a place between stars and giant planets such as Jupiter. They are often young.

Studies have shown that the mysterious wanderer contains no iron or other metals. This means that it is very old and belongs to the first generation of stars in our galaxy.

The truth is that the modern chemical diversity with gold, iron, uranium, and everything else in nature did not arise all at once. It is the product of nuclear reactions deep within stars that span generations. From one generation to the next, the chemical composition of the universe becomes more complex, and new elements appear. Old stars do not have chemical diversity, and this is what we see in our mysterious celestial body. So what pushes it out of the galaxy?

Scientists still can’t answer the question of how it gained such tremendous speed. There are many hypotheses. For example, there is a hypothesis that the celestial body flew close to a black hole and did not enter it after achieving the gravitational maneuver, or that it was part of a double star system, and its partner exploded as a supernova, while our celestial body gained tremendous power and speed, but all of this is still just speculation.

Could a mysterious celestial body be an alien spacecraft? In principle, it could be, since we have no idea what these vehicles look like. But to reach such a conclusion, more facts are still needed.
