Another unprecedented wireless controller aimed at the Xbox Series X | S appeared on the internet before the official announcement from Microsoft.
According to Billbil-kun, a renowned Dealabs leaker with a long history of reliable information leaks, the new controller will be called Astral Purple.
It’s not news that Microsoft likes to introduce new controllers for the Xbox Series X|S. Earlier this month, it made Stormcloud Vapor official with a unique design that simulates inspiration from cloudy skies and storms, bringing a dark blue tone.
Billbil-kun reveals that the new controller titled Astral Purple will be made official in September 19. It will arrive at an MSRP of US$64.99 / €64.99, the standard price for special editions.
It is worth remembering that Astral Purple is one of the colors made available to players in the Xbox Design Lab service, which allows users to customize their own joysticks. So far, Microsoft has announced at least seven Xbox controller designs in 2023.
The Xbox Series X|S hit the market in November 2020 with controls in Carbon Black, Robot White and Shock Blue colors. So far, Microsoft has brought other options such as Pulse Red, Electric Volt, Daystrike Camo, Aqua Shift, Deep Pink, Mineral Camo and the Xbox 20th Anniversary Special Edition.
