Pure cinema. There is no other way to describe the spectacular presentation of Aston Villa’s new jersey for the 2024/2025 season. The Birmingham team, which will be dressed by adidas for the first time, surprised everyone with a hilarious video featuring almost everyone from the villain world. Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler were the big stars, of course, but the one who received much of the audience’s recognition was Emiliano Martínez, who stole the show with his participation.

B: “As long as I’m playing as a left back!” (he makes a clear reference to his political orientation).
And that’s where the show kicks off. Basically, Ozzy’s message invites all Aston Villa fans to put on the jersey and go play at Villa Park. And so images of people changing and training to go out on the pitch start to roll. Until the camera reaches the Aston Villa locker room, where the star of the National Team and the English club makes his brilliant appearance. “Who is he?” asked Dibu, pointing at an unknown man dressed in the team’s full kit.
“I can play in the middle or on the left,” the man replies. And that’s when Dibu showcases all his acting skills again. His look of confusion quickly became a favorite among fans on social media and the capture of that moment is already preparing to become a meme throughout the entire season.
The Argentine goalkeeper’s appearance is not the only reference to Dibu in the video. Later on, the people who were training practice a typical movement of Martínez before saving penalties and the coach explains: “Dibu Martínez Masterclass.”
