The V8 biturbo comes straight from the gym: the 4.0-liter unit generates 680 hp and 800 Newton meters – 34 percent more power than its predecessor. A six-axis inertia measurement calculates the available road grip in advance, and the DB12 driver can choose from five driving modes (Wet, GT, Sport, Sport Plus and Individual). In the data sheet, the English noted 3.6 seconds for the standard sprint and 325 km/h as the top. In order to be able to keep such performance in check, Aston Martin installs 410 mm carbon ceramic brake discs at the front and 360 mm at the rear.
The DB12 is scheduled to arrive in Austria in the third quarter.
