Darío Franco will be the new coach of Almirante Brown to lead the team in the remainder of the First National soccer championship.
The 54-year-old coach from Córdoba will replace the interim Gustavo Pinto, who had temporarily taken over the leadership, following the departure of the Uruguayan Alejandro Orfila, following an irregular campaign.
Franco had a previous experience in Jujuy Gymnastics at the start of the same First National contest. His career as DT accredits steps through San Martín de San Juan, Instituto, Aldosivi de Mar del Plata, Defense and Justice and Colón de Santa Fe. His last job was at Deportivo Binacional de Perú.
The collaborators of the former player of the Argentine national team, champion in the Copa Américas Chile 1991 and Ecuador 1993, will be Pinto himself as field assistant; Emanuel Sánchez and Juan Borrometi as physical trainers and Ezequiel Bustos as goalkeeping coach.
Almirante Brown, with 35 points in the standings, will visit Defensores Unidos (35) on Sunday from 2:30 p.m., in Zárate, in a match valid for the 24th. Date of zone A of the contest.
