From the Asspur health union they denounce the emptying and cutting of professional contracts at the Cipolletti hospital. The measure also It impacts other locations in the Alto Valle Oeste corridor, such as the case of Catriel.

According to reports from the union, approximately 15 health professionals were left without work because their contracts were not renewed. Besides, They denounce that it is an irregularity because the majority were in a position to move to a permanent plant.

“It is a policy of adjustment and emptying of the public health system, which not only affects citizens, but also benefits private individuals. The situation is very sad. The truth is that this is too much, not only do they violate the rights of those of us who still work, such as a bonus in installments and they pay it whenever they want, devalued, but the hidden dismissal (they do not renew the contract) is the last straw,” they indicated.

From Asspur, who weeks ago were received for the first time by the Health Ministry since they were organized, They explained that it is an “ant” layoff mechanism, that colleagues call every day to inform them that their contract will not be renewed.

“Supposedly they were workers who started in 2023, but there are doctors who have been in the health system for years, but since they appear in that irregular contract situation, they take advantage of that,” they added.

They assure that the situation for now only occurs in the corridor of the Upper West Valley with its head in Cipolletti that goes from Catriel to Fernández Oro. “It’s a shame because most of them are very trained personnel.”

Asspur announced that they will closely follow the situation to analyze what forceful measures to take in the face of what they call “a hollowing out of public health in Río Negro.”
