JOB DESCRIPTION: Bentley Systems, Incorporated, headquartered in Exton, PA, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be tasked with the critical responsibilities of designing, developing, testing, deploying, and providing ongoing support for applications that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) along with cutting-edge AI techniques. This role involves utilizing cutting-edge development tools such as Prompt Flow and LangChain to ensure application stability, usability, and maintainability. A strong emphasis will be placed on writing comprehensive unit tests to validate software functionality. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI components into existing systems.

REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a U.S. Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a foreign equivalent, coupled with significant academic and/or professional experience in relevant fields. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with a variety of technologies:

Python, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Large Language Models

• Fluency in tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and OpenCV

• Working knowledge of web development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, along with frameworks such as React.js and Node.js

• Experience with database management systems like MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB

• Expertise in Java and related technologies including JSP, Spring Boot, JDBC, Junit, and Maven

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and AWS

• Proficient with version control systems including Git and Bitbucket, as well as Agile methodologies and Postman for API testing
