The ambassador pointed out that the European Energy Day comes 50 days before the holding of the climate conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, which depends to a large extent on adapting energy to face climate changes, and Egypt’s cooperation with the European Union in the field of gas is a top concern because it is an observer member in the Eastern Mediterranean Forum. Ambassador Omar Abu Aish stated that Egypt will pay great attention to the 26th United Nations Conference of Parties to support the efforts of developing countries, especially African countries in their endeavors to achieve a just green transition. .
