The commission of experts from the Ministry of Health, which will evaluate the infrastructure of the Villavicencio clinical centers, following the affectations by the telluric movements of the last hours, is expected this Friday followingnoon in the city by the health authorities.

An initial report from seven hospital institutions delivered to the Villavicencio Health Secretariat, which was accompanied by personnel from the city’s Fire Department, indicates that some walls and windows had cracks in the Meta, Primavera, Nueva Barzal, Angiography of Colombia and the Departmental Hospital.

The Servimédicos clinic did not present any news and the report from other institutions was awaited, including the municipal ESE of the city’s health centers.

Cortés, likewise, said that the people who were treated due to the level of anxiety generated by the tremors have already been discharged.

However, given the alert situation, the decision was made, said the Secretary of Health, that until the evaluation of the structures of the city’s medical centers is completed, only vital and complex emergencies are being attended and in case of general illness or non-serious situations, patients should go to nearby health centers.

Likewise, referrals from other departments were suspended, with the exception of Guayabetal and Quetame, in Cundinamarca, and from patients transferred by air ambulance due to the current emergency situation.
