The girl boarded the train at Leuven station. She took her seat on the bottom floor of the last double-decker car and chose a seat with an electrical outlet in order to work on her laptop.
A little later, a man sat across from her. He asked her a few questions in French regarding the arrival time of the train at Brussels-North and regarding the next connections and sat down next to her. As she answers him, he will put his right arm around her shoulders several times but she pushes him away. Then the individual will try to put his head once morest her cheek but she will push him away once more and notice something hanging from his left arm. Panicked, she will call for help. The attacker got off at Brussels-North station and fled via platform 9. Shortly before, the same individual allegedly harassed other girls.
The suspect is a male between 25 and 30 years old. He has black skin, is of normal build, is 1m80 tall and has short black hair. He is probably French speaking. It is possible that he limps slightly.
At the time of the events, he was wearing a red T-shirt, a light denim jacket, black training pants with the “AC MILAN” logo and dark sneakers. He wore a red bandana which he used as a mouth mask.
