Game News Assassin’s Creed Mirage: the 1st images have already leaked, heading to the Middle East!

Things are starting to get seriously clear for the all-new Assassin’s Creed. For once, the Ubisoft game leaked on the net and, finally, we already have images to eat.
An escape far from being an illusion
Leaks and Ubisoft is a story that has been going on for quite a while now. The next installment in the Assassin’s Creed saga is therefore no exception: just a few days ago, we thus learned that its name would be Assassin’s Creed Mirage, that the action would take place in Baghdad between 860 and 870 and that we would play Basim Ibn Ishadcharacter seen in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Among others.
Today, it’s concrete that comes to us served on a silver platter: the very first images of this mysterious Mirage opus, published ahead of time on the Ubisoft store. More precisely, they are different versions of one and the same artwork, and more precisely that of a DLC called “The Quest of the Forty Thieves”.
An obvious reference to the famous tale of Ali Baba and, when we see the shape of the hero’s sword (which seems to be Basim) or the very orange general tone, the context of the Middle East no longer seems to be in doubt.
Back to the basics
If Assassin’s Creed Mirage is also of great interest, it is because this week’s leak (which was therefore correct, from what we can see with these images) announced a real return to basics. Dialogue choices, fights, the experience level system and other RPG mechanics would then leave room for infiltration and a slightly more linear world, much closer to the very first Assassin’s Creed.
A nice promise for all the fans lost by the turnaround made with the episode Origins (which will still have allowed the saga to continue successfully) and which necessarily arouses curiosity.
