Assassin’s Creed Infinity was also in the spotlight during the Ubisoft Forward. Billed as the future of the Assassin’s Creed franchise in July 2021we learned a little more regarding this ambitious “platform”.
Assassin’s Creed Infinity: the Animus opens to players
It is still quite difficult to define what Assassin’s Creed Infinity is. Marc-Alexis Côté was present this evening to talk regarding the projects around the license and in particular this “Hub” which aims to bring them together. You can see the first images below at the 24th minute.
We then learned that Assassin’s Creed Red would indeed be part of Infinity. The platform should bring together the different Assassin’s Creed games in the future and the community aspect will be important.
In this sense, Marc-Alexis Côté also explained that the teams were thinking regarding new standalone multiplayer experiences in the universe of the franchise.
Assassin’s Creed : Hexe
Alongside the announcements regarding Infinity, a certain Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe was also unveiled. It will be part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity and the short teaser unveiled below shows a shot featuring a necklace in a snowy forest.
Nothing else is known of the game; all speculations around the location and the different possible times are therefore allowed.
With the slogan History as a Playgroudthere is no doubt that Ubisoft is betting more than ever on its flagship franchise and the many games in development should keep players busy for a long time to come.
After celebrating its 15th anniversary, Assassin’s Creed will be available on even more platforms and we can’t wait to hear more regarding the next games to come.
