Company Ubisoft regularly releases new games Assassin’s Creed since the release of the first game in 2007, and the franchise is showing no signs of slowing down. Last major release Assassin’s Creed was Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 2020, and the next game in the series will likely release later this year, according to reports. However, according to new information, the next game Assassin’s Creed codenamed Assassin’s Creed Rift may come out in early 2023.

This is stated by insider Colin Moriarty from the Sacred Symbols podcast, known for his insider information and breaking news regarding games for PlayStation. Although Moriarty is known primarily for his insides regarding PlayStationhis sources told him that the next game Assassin’s Creed may come out in the first two months of 2023, not late 2022 as others have reported. Ubisoft did not mention Assassin’s Creed Rift during his last call to investors, so maybe there’s something to that.

But probably, Ubisoft did not mention Assassin’s Creed Riftbecause the game has not been officially announced. As of this writing, all the fans are talking regarding Assassin’s Creed know for sure, this is a live service Assassin’s Creed Infinityalthough its launch is not expected soon.

Concerning Assassin’s Creed Rift, then rumor has it she might bring the franchise back to its roots. Last parts Assassin’s Creed moved away from the original stealth gameplay of the series and evolved into massive open-world adventure RPGs. If reports are to be believed Assassin’s Creed Riftthe game will be much smaller in scale than games like Odyssey And Valhallawhich may make it more closely related to older games in the series.

Rumor has it that the game started out as just another expansion.
