The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) core committee has accused the current government of orchestrating an assassination attempt on its chief, Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Speaking to reporters, SAD denounced the Punjab Police probe into the incident and instead demanded an impartial investigation by the Punjab governor. The committee alleged the attack was a deliberate conspiracy to eliminate the SAD leadership.

“We believe this attack was a well-planned conspiracy orchestrated by Punjab
Government," stated SAD acting president Balwinder Singh Bhundar. "The attempted
