ASRock launches B660M-ITX/eDP and H610M-ITX/eDP motherboards with built-in eDP

ASRock today announced the B660M-ITX/eDP and H610M-ITX/eDP motherboards with built-in eDP interface.

Modifying a small screen inside the chassis as a monitoring display or a more humanized animation modification is a modification project pursued by many high-end DIY PC players, but most of the internal screens use eDP signals, which also makes general motherboards, graphics cards. It is relatively difficult to provide such a connection interface.

ASRock launched the first B660M-ITX/eDP and H610M-ITX/eDP motherboards with built-in eDP interface, which may use the eDP signal of the internal display as the output, and build a dedicated eDP port on the motherboard. A simple eDP cable can be connected from inside the case to an eDP sized screen.

ASRock also mentioned that it is cooperating with major chassis manufacturers, including Cooler Master, InWin, Thermaltake and Silver Stone. It is expected that in the second half of 2022, side panels with eDP screens will appear on the market for consumers to buy, for the DIY market. Bring new playability.
