«Ciudad Guayana has had an important rebirth and that is due in large part to the support of our Governor Ángel Marcano and President Nicolás Maduro, because thanks to joint work, we are managing to recover, reactivate and reorder everything necessary to provide our people a first-rate road, with illuminated and safe avenues, ”emphasized the mayor of Caroní, Tito Oviedo.

Likewise, he recognized that “rebirth is possible thanks to the efforts and proposals made by the Governor of the Bolívar state, Ángel Marcano, who since he took office has not stopped working for the region,” they mentioned in a press release.

Within the 100 days of the government and the Plan “Con100cia y Bolívar Renace”, the workers of the Mayor’s Office of Caroní, Asfaltos Bolívar and PDVSA Gas began work on Av. Atlántico, Carrera Roma, located in the Unare parish in Puerto Ordaz, and simultaneously, on Libertador avenue in San Félix, advancing with the recovery of the main roads of the Caroní municipality.

2,800 tons disposed

In advance of the Asphalting Plan, Mayor Tito Oviedo released a balance of the development of the works. He reported that in Caroní, Guayana avenues, Paseo Caroní and Vista al Sol parish have already been paved.

“We are reaching 2,800 tons of asphalt placed, of the first 15,000 of this Bolívar Renace Plan.”

He stressed that with this project the entire Caroní municipality will be paved, however, the main avenues are the ones that will be served with priority.

Improvements in services

The mayor’s office of Caroní, together with the Government of Bolívar, Hidrobolívar and Bolívar Gas have been deployed in recent weeks to various territories of Ciudad Guayana, to carry out work on the correction of water canisters, cleaning of rainwater drainage, excavation, removal of damaged pipes and direct gas placement in various zones.

The mayor Tito Oviedo informed that these actions have been carried out, in order to optimize and offer a comprehensive quality service in the area, as well as to be able to continue with the Asphalting Plan without any problem, and at the same time, provide better services to the Guyanese.
